BMJ Group environmental policy

At BMJ Group, we recognise our environmental impact through journal production, digital operations and events. We use our communication reach to raise awareness and take active steps to reduce our footprint. Key focus areas include the paper supply chain, printing and distribution, and the energy management of our websites and servers. To prevent pollution and protect the environment, we have implemented an Environmental Management System (EMS) that meets ISO 14001 standards and applies across all our activities and locations. Our EMS embeds environmental considerations into company strategy, content development, journal production and event management. We monitor and review our performance regularly to ensure compliance with legal and other requirements, and to stay ahead of new environmental legislation.
